3. Beginner Winter WATERCOLOR

Theme: The Big City. Students in this class will create cityscapes with acrylic paints on canvas depicting the hustle and bustle of people on sidewalks and city streets among towering buildings and architectural elements. Instructor will provide reference photos or students are welcome to bring their own. Learn the basics of linear perspective, rendering the human form in an environment, composition, color perspective, and mastering use of the medium.

7. DO YOUR OWN THING WITH INSTRUCTION-Winter

6. DRAWING - Winter Beginner

Theme: Majestic Mountainscapes. Overcome the fear of being able to draw! Students will learn the basic elements and principles of de-sign through the study of landscapes, in particular mountainscapes which depict vast amounts of space. Learn landscape composition and atmospheric perspective, how to mas-ter black and white media, how to draw what you see, and how to create the realistic visual effects that will invite the viewer step into your drawing and enjoy the view! No prior experi-ence necessary. Bring your own sketchbook. The instructor will supply all other materials.

Our theme will be making Mini Junk Journals, Paper Bag / Envelope Journals and Pocket folders from one sheet of paper. Main supplies - craft card stock, double sided pattered paper 12"x12", narrow double sided tape, scoring tool, scissors, ruler, embellishments.

 

11. PASTELS -Winter

Date: January 10th, 2020 - February 14th, 2020

Learn how to paint the beautiful South Jersey Landscape in pastel.  This 6 week course will cover the many elements of our unique land: maarsh, waterways and colorful skies.  Learn about the different types of pastels and papers/surfaces you can use.  Explore a variety of underpainting techniques to breathe life into your paitings.  Students will work from their own favorite photographs or follow along with Renee.  All levels welcome. Supply List  There are some pastels at the Guild for use in class.

 

9. DRAWING - Rogine Winter

Date: January 16th, 2020 - March 5th, 2020

12. INTRO TO FIGURE DRAWING - Winter-Ages 18+

Date: March 14th, 2020 - April 18th, 2020

Caitie Kohl (732) 552-4042  Introduction to Figure Drawing Ages 16+

Explore self-expression through drawing, with the figure as your muse. Through observational and expressive figure drawing, students from any skill level, beginning to advanced, will learn the step by step approach to figure drawing. The goal is to develop the ability to draw the figure with skill and imagination. Upon completion of this class, students will create quick gesture drawings as well as finished pieces of artwork to take home with them.
Price includes $60 in modeling fees for 6 weeks
