Jim Crawford and Michael Baine will be Performing Blues, Country, Pop and Rock classics
Galleries open for viewing at 6:30 PM. Concert starts at 7:00 PM with light refreshments around 8 PM. Enjoy a snack, a glass of wine or cup of coffee.
A $5.00 donation is suggested to support the musicians and the Ocean County Artists Guild’s efforts to continue to host these monthly concerts.
Jim Crawford Bio:
Jim Crawford was born in Glasgow, Scotland, at the age of seven emmigrated to Canada and five years later to Kearny, NJ where he finished school before joining the US Army in 1964.
Jim started playing for friends in an Irish Bar in Kearny called The Tyrone House which led to gigs in other local pubs in Northern New Jersey and had a good following for several years before he settled into work and his marriage.
After retiring as a union electrician Jim got back into his music and started writing songs that were based on his life experiences. This resulted two CDs, titled “Team of my Father” and “Yelling At Me” that were well received by the local music community. Jim has performed solo and with groups in Albert Music Hall in Waretown, BOTMA in Little Silver, The Cafe Improv in Princeton, The Cafe Artiste in Neptune and numerous coffee houses in the Monmouth area.
Bio For Michael Baine
Michael Baine was born in 1961 in Harrisburg PA. He is a Husband, father, Business Owner, outdoor enthusiast, singer songwriter out of the Ocean County area. Michael has been playing both coffee houses as well as singer songwriter venues over the past 15 years. Michael has also been a long-standing member of the Acoustic Music Guild and plays at allot of their venues including here several times over the years. In 2019 Michael released his first official Album titled ‘’The Cloud’’. This was Michaels first music release into the streaming world of Music. Since then, Michael has been releasing singles as well as two song clusters at a time. All Michaels Music can be listened to on all streaming channels. This is Michaels second visit here with us, I’m pretty sure he will be playing some new material tonight!
