Block Printing on Fabric and Paper (adult, teen).
In this workshop we will learn the basics of block printing!
Class cost: $40 members and $50 non-members PLUS $8 supply cost.
NOTE: Supplies are pre-ordered and will be available at class. The $8.00 supply cost will show at checkout.

We will prepare our design and carve our blocks for printing.
We will explore color and actual printing with inks on fabric and paper, including basic repeat patterns. Instructor will demonstrate all phases of this project as we go!
You will leave with your completed fabric and paper projects, which will include a tea towel and note cards, as well as your carved blocks.
This class is perfect for beginners, as well as those with printmaking experience.
We will be using non-toxic, water-based inks and non-latex carving blocks.
Please bring a basic sketch or photo to trace, an apron or wear old clothing for printing.
Materials for use are Guild property and are not to be removed.
