DESCRIPTION:This is a 4-week class\, Mondays August 5\, 12\, 19\, 26 from 9:30-12:00 pm\nInstructor: Leona Lavone (wc-adult\, teens\, teen) \nThe Detox method \nThis is where the detox method comes into play. The detox method is an approach to finding your art style that focuses on reducing the amount of consumption of art and increasing the amount of output. \nSo\, we want to make as much Art as possible while not looking at the artwork of others. 4 weeks where you don’t look at any art by other artists and just focus on making more art yourself. \nWhy does this work? \nIf we create a ton of artwork\, we will start to get a better sense of what we enjoy making. The form below serves as a REQUEST to participate and does not guarantee acceptance into the Creative Aging Initiative (CAI) Free Class.\nThose selected will be notified at least a week prior to the class start date.\n \n\nATTENTION: There are three separate classes being offered.\nPLEASE look at the all & CHOOSE ONLY ONE.\n\nSession 1: OCAG168 Drawing on Happy Memories\nSession 2: OCAG169 Story on Canvas\nSession 3: OCAG170 Mixed Media Memory Collage \n\nYOU ARE VIEWING Session 3: runs for 4 weeks: 8/5\, 8/12\, 8/19\, 8/26\nInstructor: Kim Cesaretti \nMixed Media Memory Collage (4 weeks – four 2-hr sessions over a 4-week period\, 20 participants max including both in-person and remote) \nStudents will create memory collages using various art supplies\, promoting compositional skills\, texture\, use of color\, and creative expression. DESCRIPTION:Drop off 8/28 and 8/29 for Aug/Sept “Summer’s end”\nPick up art from July / Aug on 9/2\n \nThe Ocean County Artists Guild will be hanging art every other month (even months). \n\nWe are limited to 5 pieces each turn. One piece per artist.\nIf I receive more than 5\, I will need to randomly choose from the lot.\nWith the dates for drop-off\, I have suggested some themes to coincide with the months to grab attention. They are only suggestions\, and your art does not need to coincide with the theme.\nMake sure you wire each with a strong wire and secure eye or u hook and no lower than 1/3 from the top. DESCRIPTION:Drop off 8/28 and 8/29 for Aug/Sept “Summer’s end”\nPick up art from July / Aug on 9/2\n \nThe Ocean County Artists Guild will be hanging art every other month (even months). \n\nWe are limited to 5 pieces each turn. One piece per artist.\nIf I receive more than 5\, I will need to randomly choose from the lot.\nWith the dates for drop-off\, I have suggested some themes to coincide with the months to grab attention. They are only suggestions\, and your art does not need to coincide with the theme.\nMake sure you wire each with a strong wire and secure eye or u hook and no lower than 1/3 from the top.
