DESCRIPTION:ATTENTION VENDORS: The Spring Artisan Market “The Guild” is back!  \nThe Spring Artisan Market is planned for April 27 from 10-4 pm. \nIn the event of inclement weather or an unforeseen event\, the Artisan Market will be held Sunday\, April 28 9-4 pm.  \nThis year the market will honor the Ocean County Artists Guild’s 50th Anniversary at the old Victorian homestead in Island Heights. It is a beautiful setting with the Toms River passing along and sailboats littering the waters. We have given the event the nickname “The Guild” for its gilded anniversary and to honor its founding members who left a legacy of art and creativity to its community by establishing the Guild many years ago. Thousands of local artists have crossed it doorways over the years. Many of those artists will share their art and creations with the community at the artisan market.  \n  \nCome and spend the day with us and celebrate this very special place. The Guild exhibits our young artists on the first and second floors with imaginative ideas and golden paintings.\nPlease visit us during March to enjoy our amazing artists. You’ll be so impressed – and leave with a smile – maybe you’ll even want to paint something yourself!\nOur children’s art program is offered year-round. We also offer birthday parties\, special holiday painting parties\, and classes for all to enjoy. Her artistic style incorporates various mediums such as watercolor\, crayons\, and paint resulting in mixed media pieces that explore a diverse range of subjects. Cheryl is a longstanding member of the OCAG and this exhibition serves as a platform to share her artistic vision.\nCheryl has honed her skills through classes at the OCAG\, learning from Joe Rogin and Elaine Sgambati. She has shown her work at the Garden State Distillery in Toms River. It is a beautiful setting with the Toms River passing along and sailboats littering the waters. We have given the event the nickname “The Guild” for its gilded anniversary and to honor its founding members who left a legacy of art and creativity to its community by establishing the Guild many years ago. Thousands of local artists have crossed it doorways over the years. The exhibition\, titled\, “Visions of Cheryl”\, will feature works created by the members of the Life Drawing Tuesday Group that Cheryl oversees. In addition to these collaborative pieces\, Cheryl will also be displaying her own series of faces. Her artistic style incorporates various mediums such as watercolor\, crayons\, and paint resulting in mixed media pieces that explore a diverse range of subjects. Cheryl is a longstanding member of the OCAG and this exhibition serves as a platform to share her artistic vision.\nCheryl has honed her skills through classes at the OCAG\, learning from Joe Rogin and Elaine Sgambati. She has shown her work at the Garden State Distillery in Toms River. DESCRIPTION:ATTENTION VENDORS: The Spring Artisan Market “The Guild” is back!  \nThe Spring Artisan Market is planned for April 27 from 10-4 pm. \nIn the event of inclement weather or an unforeseen event\, the Artisan Market will be held Sunday\, April 28 9-4 pm.  \nThis year the market will honor the Ocean County Artists Guild’s 50th Anniversary at the old Victorian homestead in Island Heights. It is a beautiful setting with the Toms River passing along and sailboats littering the waters. We have given the event the nickname “The Guild” for its gilded anniversary and to honor its founding members who left a legacy of art and creativity to its community by establishing the Guild many years ago. Thousands of local artists have crossed it doorways over the years. Many of those artists will share their art and creations with the community at the artisan market.  \n  \nCome and spend the day with us and celebrate this very special place.
