This workshop will include some studio time but most will be spent "en plein air" painting the sights of Island Heights and along our nearby beaches.  Jim will take you step-by-step through pen and ink stages to layering on watercolor.  Watercolor journals are a great way to capture images in a short period of time.  Drawing skills, use of negative and postive shapes, values and design elements will be emphasized.  A material packet will be available.
