Plein Air Painting - The Essentials

Date: May 21st, 2021 - May 23rd, 2021

Learn to work efficiently and successfully in the outdoors with this award winning painter.

Using oil, acrylic or watercolor the class will visit several offsite areas during the three day workshop to explore expressive painting techniques.  Back by popular demand!

 

Using Cast Shadows to Create Drama

Summer Film Making Institute

Introduction to the theories and techniques of digital movie making. Working with state-of-the-art technology, students will design, shoot, and edit films of their own creation. Projects focus on equipment operation and cinematic techniques. Each student will produce their own film and contribute to a larger scale production on a crew.

The days will include lectures, equipment training, on-set production, and editing. At the end of the program, the final films are celebrated in a festival screening open to family friends, and the community. Enrollment is open to anyone 13 years to 19.
