Learn how to create this lovely 3 dimensional wall art piece. Add your special touches to the tea cup by creating a rose, leaves and beautiful hydrangea bunches all out of air dry polymer clay. In 3 hours you’ll learn all the techniques needed to complete the project pictured here. Diane Phillips is a Certified DECO Clay Craft Academy instructor since 2003 and was featured on the Martha Stewart Show back in 2018. She moved to the Shore last year and has been sharing this wonderful art of clay crafting with locals. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn how to create unique gift ideas and home décor pieces! (this one the students can bring their own water colors or pencils if they prefer to make the teacup design their own).

Sarah Becktel - Techniques in Colored Pencil, Surfaces and Applications

This workshop will focus on application, surfaces, techniques and materials.  Students will learn to develop a refined look in their drawings.  Wet and dry blending techniques will be used to achieve rich, saturated color and even surface application.  A variety of papers will be experimented on.

New Jersey has some of the most beautiful scenery around and almost all of includes water! Learn how to paint water with pastel and capture the motion and mood. The main focus will be the ocean. Capturing both calm waters and the splash of waves. We will also include instruction for painting sand and dunes. Work from your own favorite photo references or follow along with the instructor. All levels welcome. Minimum of six students to run class.
