Deli Paper Abstract Acrylics
Workshop with Leona Lavone
5/22/2026
$35.00
Discover the joy of spontaneous abstract painting using deli paper and acrylic paints in this playful and inspiring workshop.
Deli paper is a wonderful surface for creating layered textures, unexpected marks, and colorful abstract designs. In this class, artists will explore techniques such as printing, transferring, scribbling, and layering acrylic paint to build rich and expressive surfaces.
Students will work in a series of three pieces at a time, allowing ideas to evolve naturally as layers are added. The process is loose, experimental, and full of surprises.
Your finished deli paper pieces can be enjoyed as stand-alone abstract artworks, or used later as elements in collage, mixed media work, or the starting point for future paintings.
This workshop is perfect for artists who enjoy creative exploration, texture, and working intuitively with paint.
No experience necessary — just come ready to experiment and have fun!
