In Whimsical Pets, artists will learn how to paint loose, lively animal portraits full of personality using watercolor and ink techniques. Students will explore playful brushwork, splashes of color, and expressive line work to create charming pet paintings.
The focus of this class is not realism, but capturing character and movement while allowing watercolor to flow naturally across the page.
Participants are encouraged to bring reference photos of their own pets, such as cats, dogs, or other animals, or they may work from provided reference images.
