This Week at the Guild 04/20/2026

Fun at the Guild

What an exciting and inspiring week it’s been at the OCAG!

Spring Jam 2: Wednesday night kicked off the festivities with moving and grooving to the music of the Crickets & Cicadas with special guest Sandy Mack, which brought the house to life with music, rhythm, and unforgettable vibes. The blend of art and live music made the weekend truly something special!

Collage & Concerts: Friday at the Guild was all about hands-on creativity with Clara Sue Beym’s Upcycle Collage Workshop . Thank you to everyone who joined us and brought their imagination to the table. Clara said, “I had a great time at Ocean County Artists Guild on Friday instructing the artists to create their amazing collages during the Upcycle Collage workshop. It was a pleasant day. They did great.”

As the sun set, the mood shifted into something a little more intimate. Our monthly acoustic series welcomed Mary Lutton back to the Guild stage for the first time in a year. It was an evening of soulful sound and heartfelt performance that reminded us how powerful live music can be in a creative space.

The festivities continued with a vibrant lineup as part of Garden State Art Weekend:

  • Saturday Night Reception featured the dynamic sounds of Blackwolf featuring Bob Steeler of Hot Tuna bringing an unforgettable musical presence to the evening.
  • Sunday Portrait Class with Lee Stacy invited artists to slow down, observe, and refine their craft in a supportive studio setting.
  • And to close it all out, our Song Circle gathered voices and hearts together in a beautiful, communal ending to an incredible weekend.

A big thank you to everyone who came through our doors, explored the galleries, and spent time with us. Your presence brought energy and excitement, turning each room into a vibrant gathering place for art lovers and artists alike. A special thank you to our talented artists who generously shared their time and expertise through live demonstrations. Watching creativity unfold in real time is always something special, and your passion and skill inspired all who attended.
