OCAG to be Honored at 2025 Ocean County Lifetime Achievement in the Arts Award Ceremony
OCAG will be honored as the 2025 Ocean County Lifetime Achievement in the Arts Award at the annual Salute to Ocean County: A Celebration of Arts and Heritage on Wednesday, May 15 at 6:30pm at the Ocean County College Gateway Building. Join us as we celebrate this wonderful achievement!
This prestigious recognition is presented by the Ocean County Cultural and Heritage Commission and celebrates OCAG’s enduring contributions to the region’s cultural landscape.
Since our founding in 1957, OCAG has evolved from a small collective into a cornerstone of the local arts community. Today, we offer a diverse array of exhibitions, classes, and events from our beloved, historic Victorian home, fostering creativity and connection among artists and art enthusiasts alike.
Reflecting on OCAG’s mission, President Bill Pike stated, “We are evolving to heighten awareness of the Guild, attract new members, and reach new audiences. Come and join the fun in 2025!”

We Need Weekend Sitters!
OCAG is seeking member volunteers to serve as weekend “Sitters.” Similar to museum docents, Sitters welcome visitors, provide information about exhibits, and help create a warm, engaging atmosphere. Shifts are Saturdays and Sundays from 1–4 PM, offering a great way to support the Guild while enjoying the inspiring art on display.
Whether you’re a longtime member or newly involved, your time and enthusiasm make a difference! No prior experience is needed—just a friendly attitude and a love for the arts!
