The votes have been counted, and OCAG is proud to announce our newly elected Executive Board for 2025/2026! With great excitement, we welcome the talented team of officers and trustees who will be leading us into another creative and inspiring year.
We look forward to the fresh ideas, dedication, and passion that this board will bring to the Guild. Their leadership will guide us in continuing our mission to celebrate and support the arts in our community.

Finally, thank you to all our members for participating in the election. Your votes make a difference, and your support ensures that OCAG remains a vibrant, artist-centered community.
Here’s to a year filled with creativity, collaboration, and inspiration!

Cagney Archdeacon, President
A true “Doer, Donor, and Door Opener,” Cagney Archdeacon leads with integrity, vision, and hands-on dedication. As OCAG’s former Treasurer and now President, he has demonstrated unwavering commitment—from securing grants and building budgets to replacing door handles, raking leaves, and even volunteering as Santa at the Holiday Craft Fair. Cagney believes a president should lead by example, fostering a welcoming environment where creativity thrives.
With a background managing 30–60 employees and a $6.5 million P&L, he brings proven leadership, collaboration, and financial stewardship to the Guild. His priorities include strengthening community outreach, expanding classes and workshops, enhancing OCAG’s digital presence, and ensuring the long-term sustainability of our historic building.
Passionate about the arts and active in nearly every Guild activity, Cagney and his family proudly participate in classes, events, and volunteer efforts. He is deeply committed to honoring OCAG’s legacy while guiding it toward a vibrant future.

Marilyn Kraylik, Vice President

A long-time Island Heights resident, she has always cherished the Guild as both a historic landmark and a vibrant home for creativity, camaraderie, and cultural exchange.
Since joining the Board as a Trustee, Marilyn has been instrumental in building bridges between the Guild and younger artists, helping launch a Student Advisory Board with representatives from local colleges and high schools. She is passionate about expanding classes, demonstrations, and events that unite generations while honoring the Guild’s Victorian roots and nearly seventy years of artistic tradition.
With a deep commitment to accessibility and outreach, Marilyn has championed partnerships with veterans’ groups, the Deaf community, and local cultural organizations. Her thoughtful leadership helps ensure OCAG remains a treasured hub for art and community connection.

This innovative program encouraged collaboration across artistic disciplines, inspiring playwrights to draw from visual artists, musicians, and creators of all kinds—transforming that dialogue into new stories and performances.
A natural connector and “hub” within the arts community, Cat is passionate about fostering collaboration and expanding the reach of creative expression. She views the Guild not only as a place to showcase and celebrate art but also as a platform for experimentation, growth, and cross-disciplinary inspiration.
Cat looks forward to supporting OCAG’s current projects, strengthening its financial foundation, and helping to shape exciting new opportunities for artists and members alike

She is deeply committed to storytelling as a way to strengthen community ties, highlight the importance of historic preservation, and celebrate the creativity of Guild artists.
With expertise in content creation and editorial leadership, Amanda is dedicated to supporting both the Guild’s growth and its historic home. She looks forward to continuing her work amplifying OCAG’s voice and mission through clear, engaging, and inspiring communication.

With over 20 years as co-owner of a creative agency and decades of experience in visual communications, branding, and design, she brings both professional expertise and a hands-on creative spirit to the Guild.
From her earliest days as her school’s “bulletin board artist” to her explorations in printmaking, watercolor, pottery, and set design, Susan has always lived a life enriched by creativity. She views challenges as opportunities, approaching them with optimism, curiosity, and a solution-oriented mindset.
At OCAG, Susan values the Guild as more than a historic building—it’s a vibrant home for artists and a hub of community connection. As Membership Secretary, she is committed to fostering belonging, supporting members, and advancing the Guild’s mission of celebrating creativity in all its forms.

Gianna Masi, Recording Secretary
A rising artist and educator, Gianna Masi, Recording Secretary, brings fresh perspective, passion, and a deep commitment to inclusion to her role as Recording Secretary. Currently a fine arts major, studio assistant, and Art Club advisor at Ocean County College, Gianna has been devoted to creating and sharing art her entire life.
Her work explores themes of self-exploration and the experiences of differently-abled individuals, encouraging audiences to look more closely at life and its many dimensions. With aspirations of becoming a fine arts professor, she is dedicated to helping others discover and nurture their own artistic voices.
Though a new member of OCAG, Gianna is already deeply enthusiastic about contributing to its mission. She looks forward to helping the Guild expand its reach, bringing new communities into its creative circle, and supporting opportunities for members to grow both artistically and socially in a welcoming, vibrant environment.

Danielle Archdeacon, Trustee
As Executive Director of OCAG, Danielle Archdeacon is dedicated to ensuring the Guild thrives as a hub for creativity, connection, and community. Serving on the Board for the past year, she has driven new programs and partnerships that expand the Guild’s reach while honoring its historic legacy.
Danielle has spearheaded collaborations with Garden State Distillery, TRAC, and the Acoustic Musicians Guild, while also introducing more live music events and fundraisers like Boozy Bingo. She has built strong ties with Toms River schools, securing Youth Art Month for high school and intermediate students, and launched a youth photography program alongside Guild artist Julie Fallon.
An active supporter of artists, Danielle not only purchases artwork but also participates in classes and workshops herself, embodying the spirit of engagement she champions. She looks forward to continuing her work strengthening partnerships, expanding opportunities, and guiding the Guild into its next exciting chapter.

A developmental psychologist and fiber artist, Sue Clayton is passionate about the healing power of the arts and their ability to build connection and resilience. Throughout her career, Sue worked in New Jersey public schools as a counselor, social worker, and Director of Student Personnel Services, as well as in Head Start and Early Head Start programs as a Mental Health and Disability Consultant. Her research focused on how arts engagement supports children with learning challenges, emphasizing creativity as a pathway to growth and inclusion.
A lifelong maker, Sue has explored painting, sewing, and performing arts, and now focuses on fiber arts—spinning, weaving, felting, and experimenting with innovative materials like “plarn.” Music is also central to her life: she plays cello with two semi-professional orchestras and has performed internationally. At OCAG, Sue finds joy, inspiration, and community, and she is deeply committed to helping the Guild continue to flourish as a creative haven.

Sally is deeply committed to ensuring that OCAG continues to thrive as a cultural cornerstone for Ocean County and Island Heights. Whether volunteering her time, working on committees, or welcoming visitors, she brings warmth, dedication, and a true passion for the arts. For Sally, the Guild’s historic Victorian home is not only a beacon of creativity but also a vital part of the community she loves to serve.

Julie Fallon, Trustee
Julie Fallon has been passionate about the arts for as long as she can remember. Her earliest memory is opening a box of Crayola crayons—Forest Green quickly becoming her favorite. In high school, she received her first camera, sparking a lifelong love of photography and teaching her to slow down and notice the beauty in everyday life. Julie later studied at art school in Philadelphia, gaining inspiration and skills that continue to influence her creative journey. Though her career path led into the medical field, her passion for art never faded. A lifelong Toms River resident, she has long admired the Ocean County Artists Guild and is honored to now be part of its community. Julie is especially committed to helping children and teens discover the healing power of creativity, ensuring future generations have the same opportunities to learn, express, and thrive through the arts.

Following his own successful watercolor show at OCAG, Scott looks forward to contributing as a trustee and helping the Guild thrive for generations to come.
