Exhibition and Awards
July 1st to July 26th, 2009

Summer Exhibition and Scholarship Opportunity for 2009 Ocean County High School and/or Vocational School Graduates who have been accepted into an art and design school or college as an art major and will be attending in the fall. All eligible artists who enter will be included in the exhibition and a total of three scholarship winners will be chosen
OPEN HOUSE HIGHLIGHTS ART CLASSES FOR FALL Sunday, July 19th, from 1- 4pm, the Ocean County Artists’ Guild of Island Heights welcomes all to an open house, free to the public, to observe the types of classes, workshops and demonstrations available at the Guild. Open air classes, students at easels guided by teachers, figure drawing with a live model, still life, and children painting a canvas mural to be hung on the Guild carriage house may all be viewed by visitors. The Guild offers classes year-round; daytime, evening and weekends; for beginners and intermediate artists; adults as well as limited classes for children.
