This is a 3-week class 5/10-24
Curriculum:
- 1st session – Learning about miniatures and the tricks & tips on how to paint them.
- 2nd session – Starting a small painting using the techniques from the previous class.
- 3rd session – Refining previously started painting and going over any questions about painting miniatures and small works (scale, color, paper, etc).
Join other fellow artists as we delve into the world of miniature watercolors. You will create a miniature masterpiece, suitable for displaying in a dollhouse or for any “refrigerator” gallery. This is your chance to try something new. Materials for the class will be provided but you are welcome to bring your own. Some knowledge of watercolor painting will be helpful. Students will take at least one miniature masterpiece at the end of the class.
Materials included in class:
- Small pieces of watercolor paper – 2X3 and/or 1X2 (or smaller)
- Six-well miniature Palette and mixing plate
- Water brush
- Watercolor paints
