This is an outreach class designed to reach the underserved over 55 population. The form below serves as a REQUEST to participate and does not guarantee acceptance into the Creative Aging Initiative (CAI) Free Class.
Those selected will be notified at least a week prior to the class start date.

YOU ARE VIEWING Session 2: runs for 6 weeks:

Story on Canvas (6 weeks – six 2-hr sessions over a 6-week period, 20 participants max including both in-person and remote)
In this creative exploration of acrylic painting, students will narrate their cherished stories on canvas. Students will experience self-expression, technique mastery, and community engagement. In-person participants will also collaborate on a group mural to promote unity.
NOTE: This class has a remote option via Zoom. Students choosing the remote only option should indicate that choice on their application. Art materials kits will be provided to remote students on a first come first serve basis up to the max of 20 total students including both in-person and remote students.
